Introducing

Hello everyone,

I am a new user to WSO, although I've been following for quite some time. I am currently a Master of Science in Finance at Purdue University and will be graduating this May. I have a year of work experience as an accounting analyst at a proprietary trading firm between my undergraduate and masters degrees. It's been, what has seemed like, a long path to find what I want to do in life but after discovering the world of investment banking and all the different facets it encompasses I have turned my goals to breaking into the industry. I'm open to M&A, Lev Fin, ECM, DCM, or Restructuring. All have their interesting facets and I think being the lifeblood of economic possibility is what draws me to the industry.

Why WSO? Being from a non-target school, we do not focus on financial services and I hope to involve myself with WSO to find what I have been missing, surround myself with the culture, become more industry savvy, and hopefully make some new connections in the process.

Thank you for reading my intro. Looking forward to being the new monkey on the block!

~ Michael
