Introducing myself - Small to medium size hedge fund

Hey I heard this was a great peer forum for financial services .
About me:
I work in a small to medium size hedge fund co heading the US equities desk in Norway, because of downsizing as of late I have gotten a couple of new responsibilities some of which I am not too embarrassed to say i'm not an expert of so Im picking up extra schooling and other education which includes picking up and learning whatever I can wherever I can.
I feel I learned more practical applications from peers and experience then any given year at business school.

I was in the Army for a while ,serving for 4 years with two deployments to Afghanistan.I suffered an injury while driving a vehicle there wich put me trough a bad period, but I feel I came out stronger.
That i all I can think of about myself of significance,I do enjoy video games, girls etc etc etc
I am looking forward to being a part of your community,I am horrible at writing these introduction posts so please excuse me.
Best Wishes.Max
