Introduction: My name is Jon

Hi all,

My name is Jon.. first time posting. Wanted to introduce myself, tell alittle about my finance situation. Would love to get to know ya'll and learn from you.

I graduated from Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business. Got a BBA concentrating in Finance and Psychology. Did investment analysis, derivative valuations and human behavioral sciences.. After graduation, I got a job at Chase Bank.. Retail banking

Was really disappointed with that. Wasn't doing anything cool or what I wanted to do. I was a relationship banker and the licensed me with my 6 and 63. Called retail bank customers about mobile apps.. credit cards.. and in person meetings.. really lame. Left that and became a tech recruiter.. very hard work place and demanding hours.. but can be lucrative. Not finance though.

Interviewing with Oppenheimer Co. to be a Investment Adviser associate (training program where the license me) Going to be with a team. They're giving me $5mm to manage day one.

Still very distraught regarding school.. should I go back to school? Get my Master's.. etc... not sure what to do with that.

Also, computer science and shit scares the crap out of me. I'm afraid that I won't have a job in finance in 10 years because I can't code crazy shit.

haha.
