Hi everyone, great to be here! I'm just starting my journey to explore careers in finance and investing. I come from a biomedical engineering background. After working in the med dev industry for a while, I discovered my love for quantitative analysis & statistics. In the med dev industry, I applied my analytic skillset to develop all sorts of cool med dev software. The software algorithms I developed are used in some medical devices today!
I started dipping my toes in Finance and investing while I was still working & when the opportunity came, I decided to go back to school for a Masters in Comp Sci with a focus on Data Science & Finance.
I'm hoping to meet some great people and learn from everyone here as I try to break into the quantitative finance industry! Looking forward to connecting with everyone!
