Newbie Here

Hello WSO

My name is Kevin, I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Im interested in learning more about pursing a career in finance. I took a very untraditional approach to obtain my degree, meaning I completed my degree online and didn't do any internships. I have no idea where to even begin looking so any advice/feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to learning as much as I can, thanks.

How would I go about trying to figure out what area of finance I want to get into? Are there areas that are easier (less difficult) to get into and vice versa?

@Discounted Cash Bro for some reason I couldn't quote your comment but just wanted to let you know that I can't PM until I have 10 points.

PWM is arguably the least reliant on technical knowledge. There are varying levels of difficulty in terms of breaking in with the hardest being the IB, Strat Consulting and buysides of the world. You have a lot of reading to do before you can have a meaningful conversation with nearly anyone on this stuff.

Yes I do, any reading suggestions?
