New guy here. 25. BS (legal studies) from a CUNY. Started my first business @ 19. Started my 2nd @ 21. Both are still running today & pay the bills. Make more than an associate. Main business is a trading house. But there isn't anymore growth. Money is slightly unstable. Also I don't have that much work to do, so I'm bored. Barely have 10 hours of work to do a week.
So now I'm looking into going back for my Masters in Real Estate Dev. Always was interested in real estate. . I have rehabbed and sold a couple of houses. currently own a rental house. & Helped Develop a Commercial building in my parents home country.
Very interested in getting into real estate as my career. Something like REIB/REPE. Starting NYU MSRED in Fall. Wondering if i should apply for internships with Commercial Brokerages like JLL/Cushman/CBRE or Mortgage brokers like Ackman Ziff, Eastdil, HFF.
5-10 year goal: Develop in a building in queens or lic for a couple of million.
