prospective monkey in need of good advice

Good day fellow monkeys,

To keep this post short and concise, my major problem is I'm in my final semester doing a degree in economics (undergrad) with an exceptional low because, truth to be told, I've not dedicated my time and energy toward my studies. It was fairly recently that I've had conversations with a few successful bankers that truly inspired me to challenge myself and I would give it all to be working with guys like them. I've had a few work experiences so far with NPOs and did 2 months market research for a Chinese firm in financial services.

My Resolve

I'm willing to commit another 1-2 years of postgrad studies to translate hard work and dedication into a solid GPA. Since economics have not prepared me for financial work I've enrolled myself in program due the end of year. I've also committed myself to daily physical training for sporting challenges. I see myself these days setting and achieving targets every week (the joys of life).

It would be greatly appreciated if my fellow monkeys could contribute some thoughts or opinions about my situation. I'm the type of person who would hit back harder after every failure and after many failures during my undergrad I can feel my obsession to be the next heavyweight champion (figuratively).

Thank you

Advice on what exactly? Banking after the program? doing the program? changing yourself? chances in banking? Not sure what your looking for. Good on you though for recognizing a need to change and crafting a strategy.
