Quick Introduction

Hey Monkeys-- My name is Ryan. I'm from Kansas City, MO, but I've been working at a health care IT company the last two years in Madison, WI after graduating undergrad with Finance & Econ majors. I'm heading back to school this August to pursue my MBA at a top 25 b-school and to try to break into private equity.

I see you took the Epic route over the Cerner Route.... this is the smartest thing you have ever done. They pay significantly better. I moved out from Minneapolis, for 43k..... the bonus structure is horrible as well(bout 4k). I recently just picked back up the mantle, and am trying to break into banking. Idk what your role was, but I have been doing management consulting. My pitch to MD's and Partners has been that I recently got accepted into a few International Master of Finance programs ( University of Manchester, University of Sydney, Queensland University) and that I would like to come in with real world experience. My goal has been to use my knowledge of Healthcare IT, as well as a master of finance, to break into M and A deals specializing in healthcare technology. You probably know, as much as I do, that meaningful use is creating a vortex of consolidation deals. Smaller firms are selling out to larger ones... so they can buy Epic. Hit me up and we can share experiences. Wishing you the best man.
