Rising senior at target undergraduate

Double majoring in finance and operations management. Transferred to the target school my sophomore year and have been going through a lot of personal life issues(medical issues, depression, etc.) and as a result my gpa is now an embarrassingly low 2.5, and I could possibly raise it up to 2.9 max by graduation.

Last summer I did school-funded research, and I have startup-related experience. Currently working with a financial services startup and gaining excel experience for the summer since I wasn't able to get a summer banking internship. I might be able to get a fall internship lined up with a small venture capital firm.

I know I'd have to network by butt off but how likely is it to still get an ib offer senior year with low gpa and no summer internship? Any advice on what I should be doing to strengthen my position?

I've considered that but I definitely want to at least experience it for myself before deciding it's not for me. It's good to validate that it's not impossible though.
