Walking in the Mist

Hey everybody! A while ago I've seen this forum and was really amazed by the detail of advice and professionalism of its members. However, after the feeling of amazement set in, I felt the dread and fear from all those people (a lot of them my age) being a lot better than me in finance. This is why decided to join: I want to learn everything there is on finance!

I am Serbian 1st year econ student at a Dutch uni. Even though I was always interested in econ and finance, I am at that point in my life where I question my path. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and have been regarded a smart kid my whole life but I was always missing that zing, or motivation to actually do something extraordinary. I gave up on so many projects and many of them just ended up being thoughts and ideas. Now, I am not saying I had it easy but my father is a successful CEO and can provide me with a nice educational background but is not involved in the financial industry. Why am I saying all of this? Well, I am hoping that there exists a person who could direct my path I have so many questions and I do not not where to start. For the last year I have been among the best students at my school. But I know I can do a lot better.

Anyways, I would love to talk to a lot of you and learn as much as I could!
