WSO Newbie

Hi Everyone,

Senior majoring in Economics/ minoring in Political Science

I'm new to WSO. I recently became interested in Investment banking and management consulting after my 2013 summer internship. I'm interested in banking because I would like to gain practical experience in the private sector. My long term career goal is to be an economist specializing in developing markets, macroeconomics, and entrepreneurship. I was told that the best economists have banking experience. Consequently, they understand how investment and loans work (a major growth component for developing countries). I don't know much about banking, but I'm smart and willing to learn. I'm Excited to "meet" you all and gain valuable advice.
