It gets pushed back a few weeks every year to the point where in 10 years recruiting will start as a freshman. It has to stop. Eventually I feel they will realize the handicap it places on students and start moving the timeline back towards junior year.

It will prob eventually reach a stage where there will be two cycles. An ultra early one that keep getting pushed up and then a set one (prob around 14-16 month before SA start time). The best kids just get better and better and better earlier everyone. Generally shocked at how prepped even the freshmen are nowadays and I don’t even go to a target

The way I see it the only leverage students and analysts have to push back is to satirize the perverse nature of the on cycle timeline.

Why do mid-level professionals feel the need to aggressively accelerate the timing at which they meet with college children? I know some of us miss college but the obsession with wanting to "coffee chat" inexperienced and impressionable young kids is becoming harrowing. Certified on-cycle, certified pedophile.
