Why do all of these smart ivy-league graduates go into IB? There are people all over twitter making $1,000 a day and more by day trading, why doesn't everyone do this?

why make $1000 a day daytrading when you could just live under a bridge and eat other people's trash
People who go to Ivy schools tend to be hyper risk averse, going to Harvard is the ultimate play it safe move.
