2021 Bonus Outlook
Currently @ an EB, bonus outlook this year is pretty bleak, yet we're working roughly the same hours.
Understand that this isn't a $/hr job, its all about developing relationships, etc etc. but this fact still hurts, especially when you're a VP2 and the bonus is >150% of your base.
Guess I'm lucky to still have a job.

Bump....
surprised this post didn't get more love. I'd say that 2021 bonus figure should be back on track.
because it’s too far away and nobody knows what is going to happen
Fair, but you can also do the math on fees being brought in vs. headcount costs. Unless we see a flurry of pent up M&A (no), bonus will be a bagel this year.
My guess is bonuses may end up around 50% of normal. I don't think many firms will give a zero bonus but RemindMe! 9 Months and that may end up being the worst take of 2020.
this isn’t reddit
