Aaron Judge is amazing

As a Yankee fan since I was indoctrinated by my brother when I was 4 years old I haven’t been this excited about baseball since ‘09. Dude has had an absolute monster year. Doing it all while pitching is at its best it’s ever been. Yes MLB parks are smaller than they used to be but this is still no small feat. On top of carrying the Yankees all season when they really should be in 3-4th place with the way the rest of the squad has been — I’m so happy. Hal, you better get ready to shell out 40mm a year or else buddy is going to walk. Pay him whatever he wants. Everything I want in the face of my franchise.

Cannot stand searching “Aaron Judge Barry Bonds” into google and seeing all the idiots on twatter propping “73” (many friends of mine saying this wise-assery too)..

Would love to hear what any of you baseball fans that aren’t Yankee fans think of the guy. He is a total class act. Really hard not to like him as a human imho

Yeah I doubt the MLB is testing the most popular teams best player when he is breaking HR records. They only test LatAm guys on the Padres. They definitely let Aaron slide with the PED usage, you're right

Aaron Judge should be the AL MVP this year. I do not like the idea of giving the MVP award to a pitcher, as they have their prestigious award.

Pitchforks and torches if he doesn't. I don't think anyone in their right mind is saying Ohtani anymore to be honest

Judge will win. Ohtani is insane but judge has the narrative of home run record. He’s also the face of baseball right now due to his homers. He’s in the race for the triple crown which is insane when you take into account how many HRs he has.

He’s been great for the game of baseball. I know a guy on the Yankees - not judge tho.

He wins MVP and will get a 7 year, $245M contract imo. His stats are insane this year but keep in mind he had played like 1 year combined over the past 3 due to injuries.

Remember Stanton’s MVP year? 59 home runs, MVP, then he gets the largest contract in history (at the time). Then he gets injured and has largely been a bust for the Yankees when you take into account his injuries.

Very few $200M+ contracts have ever worked out. Baseball is better with a healthy judge - the question is can he stay healthy.

If money wasn’t an option, I think I go with Ohtani. Having a Cy Young caliber pitcher who also gives you 30HR/85Rbi with .260+ BA is great. Only issue is if he gets injured then your down 2 players in a way.

If I were a GM and evaluating these guys, the money would definitely play a role. Ohtani is also 2 years younger. He seems to have really come into his on as a pitcher this season - we all knew he was elite, but he’s dominated this year.

What Ohtani is doing is one of the most impressive feats in baseball history and should have a hall of fame exhibit for the rest of time. Judge’s season this year is so insane that I argue he should be MVP. Most HR’s outside of the steroid era while batting over .300. Almost single-handedly keeping the Yankees in 1st place and being the only bright spot offensively when the rest of the team is playing like absolute garbage.

Judge and Ohtani are having 2 of the most impressive seasons in baseball history
