Accepted an offer but a better opportunity came along.
Currently, I am a sophomore at a semi-target and accepted a position doing a Wealth Management internship this summer back in my hometown. A recruiter at a BB firm reached out to me with position vacancies for this summer and I underwent the process since NYC is a place I would love to be in and ended up getting an offer. Being at a school like mine, opportunities like this can be hard to come by for sophomores, so I have decided to accept the position.
The offer letter for the WM position did not have anything in writing about backing out after signing the letter so I feel good there. I would love to get some perspective on what to say, how much to include to the WM firm on how I won't be working there this summer after all. Thanks.
they would drop you in a heart beat - you do you bro
