Adding People on LinkedIn

I have received an uptick in the number of people adding me who only share limited connections with me and who use the generic LinkedIn connection message. This is mostly undergrads/grad students. Here's a hint I'm not going to add you if you do it, put in the thirty seconds to say that you're interested in connecting because of wanting to talk about my role, career, whatever it is.
