Aircraft Leasing
Has anyone got any insight into what a career/day in the life looks like as an aircraft lessor? From what I can tell it looks to be similar to project financing, but the lessors own the aircrafts. I see that a lot of the leasing firms are based in Ireland/Miami/Singapore for tax reasons and other benefits.
Anyone happen to work there currently or in the pas can shed some light on this and what exit ops this has led to. I know Carlyle for example has an aircraft leasing business so would that be a normal route or is Infra PE an option as well?
