second this, I had friends who went and did coke a couple times a week for a couple years, but were able to come off it pretty easily and now use 1 or 2 a year if at all

Nothing wrong with wanting to blow out to relieve some stress and have some fun, but as long as you know your limits and you are aware of your feelings.

I would recommend experimenting with psychs if you really "want to find yourself". plus the comedown is nowhere near as bad (if at all on most occasions) comapred with E/molly

Definitely try this.

However, quitting for a month doesn't mean you don't have a problem.  Taking a break from drugs/alcohol is sort of like winning a few rounds in the boxing ring. It's good but it doesn't mean the match is over and you're fine.

Hmmm....maybe you need to dig deeper into what's going on here.  Are you really using E/Molly to relax?  I mean that's pretty fucking extreme man.

You should be pretty relaxed after a few drinks. What's the real reason that you're doing Molly?

WIth any sort of addiction, the eventual route is to not use it. Very hard to hear. A regular person can have those substances once in a while and it's not a big deal. But if an addict has it, certain pathways in your brain get re-ignited and you'll be back into the addiction. In this era, there is no shame whatsoever in not drinking (and certainly not in not doing Molly). You understand this is a problem which is awesome. Now get help & support. I'd suggest a therapist and perhaps community like AA (or some equivalent).

You can beat this and in a year you'll be wondering how it was even a choice between not quitting and quitting. A career in PE is also something you should consider changing -- plenty of jobs you can get with couple years of IB + PE that'll pay you 200k working 60hrs per week (some even at 40hrs per week). Best of luck
