I would say that one of prerequisites of the fund being MF is global reach. I wouldn't call any firm MF if it is investing only within Asia, or only in the US, or only in Europe.

Just went through some of the employees' profile and it seems that quite a few moved from KKR to there lol.
Sounds more like a large long-only asset manager than a private equity firm.
Why on earth would to put it down as a 'megafund' on LinkedIn or your resume? Surely 'long only asset manager with $18bn AUM' would be appropriate.

exactly this. who the hell writes "megafund" on their resume? the brand of your company/university should always speak for itself anything more comes off as desperate
