My first reaction was disbelief, but even if it is fake, it isn't far off from being real. With OCR you can easily do something like this. Hand written notes would be hard, but with standard type face you could easily do it.

Ever changing world!

OK guys - I had to see if it was real. I just downloaded it to my iPhone (Word Lens is the app name) and bought the Spanish -> English translation pack for $4.99. Not only is it real, it actually works. It's a little more jittery than the demo, but it's real. Incredible.
