Scott Galloway is an absolute hack grifter. Give him credit on the readability of the blog but he runs out of meaningful things to say pretty quickly

I like the big picture focus he brings but he heavily follows trends and is more wrong than right (ex: he bought into NFTs like an idiot, thought Alexa speakers would significantly undermine Google, legitimately thinks mark cuban drug company will disrupt healthcare, etc), finds a position and absolutely won’t shut the fuck up about it and tries to tie anything even tangentially related to those issues (big tech = bad, working remote = bad), and lives in such a ginormous nyc bubble that his head is so far up his ass (he can’t go a blog post without the straight white male bad talking points, believes moving to a top 5 city immediately after college is only way to make it in life and sees no alternative) but hey, he sprinkles hip terms and hand drawn charts with his platitudes so the content is more easily digestible. Calling something a company does a “gangster move” instead of a “strategic decision” makes him cool to the zoomer and millennial audiences

when I first started reading him 5-6 years ago felt like he could go very big and still think he can achieve household name status, plenty of ‘intellectual’ hacks do (Malcom gladwell). But kept reading his newsletter over and over until it became pretty clear he is full of hot air without much insightful to say, but just has a fun way of saying it
