Any luck with side gigs/hustles in NYC?

I’m a first year analyst and my job is a 9-5 so I have a lot of free time that I feel like I’m wasting. Im wondering if any of you have had luck with some side gigs in the city to make some more disposable income on the side. NYC is really expensive and my salary is just enough to cover the bills but I’d like to do a little more if possible.

The goal is to eventually land an IB role after a year or two. I don’t want to get complacent with my cushy job right now. It’s great but I know I could be doing more.
