Anybody actively use Alpha-Sense and/or Sentieo?

My firm is currently trialing both products. Anyone have anything good or otherwise to say about either platform? They each are attempting to bite into Capital IQ's and/or Factset's market share, trying to be all things to all people, providing research, corporate filings, portfolio analytics, news, modeling and more.

Alpha-Sense and Sentieo seem to do decent jobs of text string searches - we'll primarily interested in something that'll let us dive deeper into SEC filings than Capital IQ currently does. We already have Capital IQ, Factset and Bloomberg for modeling, research and such.

So far, I'm liking Alpha-Sense a bit more than Sentieo - their interface and navigation is a bit cleaner and more intuitive and their take on 'smart synonyms'/'word cloud' is very helpful as well as visual. Sentieo seems to need you to give it more. And the company seems to be pushing the "deal team" features on us, in regards to making annotations within research and articles, which is a nice extra but it's not blowing anyone's hair back.

Any insight, experiences, vibes... any and all would be appreciated.

Hey InfoDominatrix, sorry about the delay, but are any of these useful:

No promises, but maybe one of our professional members will share their wisdom: @gunners14n" Angus Macgyver lizard

Hope that helps.
