anybody ever eat oats straight up?
just ate a packet of instant oatmeal dry (6/10 experience), was a genius idea, no doubt. but way too much sugar in the packet (no wonder americans are obese - even a healthy thing, instant oatmeal, has a **** ton of sugar in it), would have preferred no sugar - just the oats straight up.
anybody eat oats straight up? apparently I should drink a lot of water if I start doing this.
I think that oats straight up would be a good staple for #bankerlife, because bankers are so busy closing deals - need something easy to much on that doesn't start tasting worse if you don't eat it right away.
A packet of oatmeal has ~11 grams of sugar which is roughly half what an apple has. If you think this is a ton of sugar and the reason why people are obese, I'm at a loss for words.
I really hope you get a paper cut at work tomorrow.

It's not uncommon to eat oats in a bowl with water, but it's too bland straight up
Why wouldn't you take the extra minute and cook them in the microwave with water? Why wouldn't you just eat oats without sugar - or actually "straight up?" Why is this a thread?
What a community... shitposting like this to gain banana points, like this contributes to the community in any way.
michigan, do you really think that this contributes to the community any less than your post about being addicted to k pop?
Both of you are pillars of our community
A lot more people share my love for kpop than your strange obsession for eating oats "straight up," as you so eloquently put it.
Just look at the views this video gained in 24 hours:
I actually enjoy eating dry packets of instant oatmeal. You can also blend dry oats in a smoothie, but that's probably more work than just adding hot water.
I ate 3 packs of quakers instant oatmeal dry last night
I just throw oats in protein shakes and let them sit overnight.
Honestly if you're still eating solid food, you really aren't living efficiently, and I HIGHLY doubt you will be cut out for this industry.
Personally, I only have food once a year, and am cutting water intake to twice monthly. If you think you will have time to get away from your desk for meals you are sadly mistaken pal.

this guy fucks
1/2 cup rolled oats + 1/2 cup boiling water + bit of milk = breakfast every day. Cheap, healthy, and I enjoy it. Keeps me going almost to dinner time.
I also dump protein powder down the hatch, straight up
.
try cacao nibs
