Anybody seen “Fair Play” on Netflix?
Without giving too much spoilers, it’s a Movie about two analysts at a hedge fund who are in a relationship and one gets promoted to PM. Their relationship just goes downhill from there.
I thought it was decent. Entertaining enough but definitely not my favorite finance related move
It was okay but not super realistic, the plot and script went downhill after the first 30 min and was kind of cringe.
I could somewhat see a scenario in which some random couple works in the same fund for years, where over time the woman gets the promotion over the man for the fund manager/VP title bc he couldn’t bring in revenue to fill the shoes of that role, but that sounds like just another generic day in the HF world. Rest seemed kind of underwhelming
