Just visited and I’ve decided I want to live here for the rest of my life. I wanna here some opinions.

Career Resources
Absolutely gorgeous up there. I got an offer and almost moved up there, but decided to take a different offer and stay in LA. My sister went to UCSB and it was always a blast visiting. COL is very high, but so is the quality of life. Not a whole lot of jobs but not dead either.
Dude honestly it’s amazing. What type of role were you offered up there and why did you turn it down if you don’t mind sharing.
I was offered a Sales Engineer role (I’m in tech). I also interviewed for a Software Engineer role up there but didn’t get that one. I ended up getting offered a Senior level role with a significantly higher comp package in LA. Nothing more to it than that.

Awesome town. Especially if you surf or generally enjoy the outdoors. The main drawback back for people in their 20s is that it isn't a super lively town. Lots of older folks and families so don't expect a ton in terms of nightlife. This personally hasn't bothered me at all, however.
Yeah I kinda like that vibe though
I know that UC of Santa Barbara has so many hot people there, if you can figure out where they're throwing their parties you're set for nightlife.
UCSB has by far the hottest girls in all California schools.
I did a road trip from LA to SF with my mom after I graduated college and I felt the exact same way when I visited SB.
