Your listing is terrible and so are your photos. I won't do your listing unless you hire me, but I'll refer you to an amazing and surprisingly affordable real estate photographer for free. PM me if interested
hahahaha
I cannot believe how fucking awful so many photos are in this day and age for real estate postings. And you see that all the time even from large companies trying to rent rooms in big expensive buildings. I don't get it.
Thanks for the feedback. If you have any ideas on how to change the text, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'd need to research the area for you. You can get better pics even with your phone. At least take them level; yours are crooked and shit. Order matters. You want to sort of "walk through" the property. Cover photo matters. Why is your cover photo the building? Pretty kitchens and open concepts sell - not exteriors. Talk about local transit, local attractions, schools, amenities, etc. And by local, I mean LOCAL. Know the area. And list it to Zillow & affiliates and Zumper & affiliates at least. I've found tenants through CL like twice.
Did you run comps?
Just saw this is furnished. You definitely need to advertise this as student/temp housing. Charge 2X rent to some interns. And River North isn't downtown. It's just a neighborhood.
River North is absolutely downtown...
Loop is downtown. Anything else is just a neighborhood. Proximity to downtown doesn't make a neighborhood downtown.
LOL
"isn't downtown"
Technically he's right but I don't know anyone that wouldn't consider it to be downtown.
There was a time when "downtown" was literally contained within the loop, long before any of us were around. Not anymore. It's sprawled out quite a bit.
And yet North Ave is only the border for maniac disciples, not the city.
That's a photo of River East / Streeterville...
There's a cool podcast about Chicago called Curious City. They did an episode on that little group of freaks who live in the Loop:
