Anyone seriously not care much for their alma mater in undergrad?

Specified undergrad since some might have MBAs but I have to say I could never relate to the kids who were gung ho about what college they went to, granted I didn't go to an Ivy.

I legit do not care much for my undergrad, a top 30 public uni. Come to think of it I might be a rare case since I never fit in socially, barely made any friends, and everyone there was just hyper-cliquish upper middle class kids from the suburbs who looked down on everyone not like them.

Greek life ran the show, girls were stuck up and not that hot at all (quality kept going down as admission standards got raised), people in general were real rude and cold if you were not in their social cliques, and it was nothing like they say college was supposed to be like.

I genuinely do not care if they win a championship now and rarely associate with them as much.

If you don't care about it, why did you go there - did you once care about it or you never did?

I met a bunch of IU people in NYC that were super gung ho about IU. It was a bit much at times but also hilarious.

They even had a rent stabilized NYC IU frat pad with a private backyard outdoor pool in the city. Pretty good setup.

I have asked my undergrad to put me on their 'do not call' list. I met some good friends there, but not thanks to their help.

I do have strong feelings towards my HS, and was given an opportunity to get them $40K+ this year which I took. I could have split that with my college, but fuck them.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

I don't give a shit about my undergrad or my graduate school. They were fine and all, but they were overpriced as-is and all they do is hit me up for more money.
