Anything good to read here as a software engineer?

Hi all. I am a software engineer. I work at FAANG (FB, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google). I stumbled upon this site and it seemed like a good place for information. Does anyone have some suggestions on what to read? I don't have any specific questions. I am just trying to get info on what other fields offer in terms of pay, WLB and career growth. At this point, I don't think that a career change makes sense for me so maybe something adjacent to software engineering? High Frequency Traders are famous in software engineering (Jane Street, Hudson River Trading, Citadel). Are there any good reads for those for a software engineer?

Thanks and good luck out there!

I'd recommend looking through some of the industry forums, there's a wealth of info there
