Appeals Courts Rules Against Trump In Criminal Case

In other words, Trump is not above the law.  Therefore, he is not immune to prosecution for his involvement on January 6th.  No one is above the law, not even a POTUS. The Nixon strategy did not work for Nixon and it did not work for Trump nor should it.  I think the most interesting part of the ruling was how the court described him as an officer of the United States

Will the SCOTUS who, to a substantial degree, was nominated by Trump, get involved.  I have no idea about the answer to that question.  It really irks me that lots of people think it is okay that the POTUS did not initially defend the US on January 6th.  That is where we are in this country.  Politics is a joke.  No one has any principles, democrats or republicans.  The election is going to be a contest between a person who was supportive of an attack on our capitol and a person who may be in cognitive decline (according to some)
