I hate Arsenal more than anything on this Earth. This hatred isn't out of any rivalry, either. I just can't stand their fans.

messi could have, and should have, scored a hatrick. it also should have been over at half time.

Disappointing result for Barca given the fact that they possessed the ball well and dominated most of the game. Barcelona will probably beat Arsenal 4 nil at home and take it.

Am I the only one that thinks Rooney's goal was tremendous but not nearly as good as people have made it out to be. It was struck well and accurately (upper 90, no chance for the keeper) but people are calling it one of the best goals of all time. I score like that every weekend (granted not in the EPL)!

Maybe Wenger will use Mourinho's trick and use Van Persie in defense like Eto'o last year and qualify Arsenal lol.

Arsenal started dominating as soon as they went 4-4-2 after getting Bendtner on for Walcott.

As for the Rooney goal, it wasn't the quality of the strike itself, but the whole situation. Manchester derby, scores level, with 10 minutes left to play in the first season that City have even an outside chance of actually competing for the title. Great goal!

Barca should have been up 2-0 at half. Overall a tie would have been a fairer result. Arsenal did play well though, especially Wilshire... Second leg should be a dandy, hopefully Messi brings his finishing boots. Barca could be bad at the back with no Pique and if Puyol is still injured.
