I have been mulling the idea of automating some of my modeling processes (dashboard construction/ probabilistic modeling & visualization etc) in the past few days - doesn't seem too difficult to do with a bit of VBA or Python.
Wondering if any of you have experience doing similar things, and if any other use cases you have come across other than (1) building a stock screener based on multiples; or (2) automating some functions in your existing models (like the ones I mentioned above)?
It seems to be an interesting area and I'm surprised to see not that many threads about this.

There are already services that provide advanced robo-analysis fundamental modelling, New Constructs is an example.

There are entire (multi-billion dollar) funds who employ strategies dependent on analysis like this. Some go pure quant, while others use tools like these to make their discretionary traders better.
Quants are the SJWs of the investing world, they make a lot of noise but they typically end up being a waste of space (and human life)
