Megatron, wow, there are a lot of weird names that you can get screwed over with if your parents are crazy, but this gem, however, has to be the coolest one ever.

I love how all of you immediately relate Megatron to being a badass, and being a badass to be a banker. Most likely this kid will be a fucking loser just like his gay uncle.

I disagree with Marcus. Megatron is a fucking badass name regardless of whether or not you even know about the cartoon / movies.

I agree a bajillion percrent. when I first saw this post I didn't even relate it to Transformers, it took a while to resonate. I was one of the few kids who hated that show, I barely watched it when I was young. I just felt like the name Megatron was badass straight up. Which it is.
In fact, I feel like the fact that there is a precedent for this name in a previous character takes away from the sheer badassness of it. Because the Megatron I'm thinking of, the one that just made Bill Brasky's face fall off because he looked at him so hard, would fuck the Transformers Megatron up - specialty style.

I know a kid who goes to my school whose parents intentionally did not give him a middle name when he was born. Instead, they waited until he was 5 years old and let him choose one for himself. His name is now Charles Helicopter "Smith".
Definitely going to pull something similar with my kids. But maybe reserve some sort of veto power.
