Banks With Best Holiday Party?

A friend invited me to Citadel's holiday party this year. They had a 3-day Disney trip and invited Coldplay and Carly Rae Japson to perform at the party. Just wondering what other firms are doing for holiday parties? Which firms/groups have the best party?

The crazy holiday parties went away with the financial crisis, most have scaled them way back to an office gathering or similar. Usually groups will have their own unsponsored party, but it's on the seniors' tab, not the firm so they're not having Coachella over there or anything. Most everyone I know has an open bar for ~2 hours at a random, casual bar on a weeknight, it's nothing exceptional.

Think Citadel is probably one of the last ones to have a truly extravagant gathering. Esp in a tough year like this one

Sounds like legit the worst. Don’t mind socializing w work people as I think it builds camaraderie especially outside of your immediate group but just limit it to open bar and food. No one wants to see Chris Martin wail on a mic and sing sad songs…
