Are we limiting this to finance firms? IBM's "Big Blue" and Ferrari's "Prancing Horse" are classic.
I used to work at IBM. People that were hardcore to the firm were called "Blue Blooded." We called it "Big Blue" often in firm culture.
Delightfully coincidental since at Microsoft the hardcore lifers are known as "blue badgers" for their highest level FTE ID badges.
It is common for people to call Raymond James "Ray-J"
