Best macroeconomic commentary writers?

I’m looking for a good newsletter / commentator about topical macroeconomics just for personal edification. Ideally something that’s published every week or couple of weeks, and not something with PhDs as the target audience. Something easily digestible and interesting, not just stating “CPI is this%, unemployment is that%”.

I used to read John Maudlin’s Thoughts From the Frontline but got annoyed by the barrage of marketing emails despite unsubscribing from them multiple times. I also have heard GeoPolitcal Futures is good but haven’t tried yet.

I enjoy Scott Galloway's weekly newsletter. More of a marketer but has interesting insights nonetheless. Only annoyances are he drinks the white guilt kool aid as well as has a hard on for the big 4 tech companies
