On my summer internship, my team took me to the rooftop terrace and some a**hole working in insurance was flexing his breitling in my face and telling me I should ‘join his firm’ because they would pay me ‘way more’. Kinda been put off since then but not a bad shout anyway haha. Thanks for the advice!

Don't go any further out than Chelsea and Knightsbridge if you're a proper banker.
The idea of spending 80-90 hours a week in IB just go go out in Chelsea or Knightsbridge in my early/mid 20s makes me want to stab my eyes out.
If you have any sense you'll go where you won't be surrounded by posey bankers and lawyers in your spare time. Clapham and Shoreditch holla @ me
