Best second major for M/A or trading specialist
I am a sophomore majoring in finance and am interested in taking on a second major to give myself an advantage. I feel as if either accounting or economics is good to suplement finance, but I feel that it would depend on whether you want to go into either M/A or trading. I still can't decide which one to focus on, but my opinion is that accounting would be best for M/A and economics for trading? Not sure, just would like some opinions on what worked for you. Thanks!
It doesn't matter, no one is particularly impressed by a double major, although sometimes it's easy to get a dual finance and accounting major. If you have a strong interest in trading a minor in math or stats will likely be more useful but still in all likelihood no one will care.
CS or math/stats for trading. Accounting for finance.
You don't need a second major and it won't make you stand out in recruiting
If you want a second major, do it for interest only.
