Best VPN for personal and professional use? Ideally that won't cause massive lag
Hate the marketing of shit services like ExpressVPN and others like them. I'm looking for a service that has a great record for security and also isn't going to make my browser and other services lag like I'm trying to access them from a cave in Mongolia. What do the techy folks here recommend?

I use the Opera web browser that has a built in VPN - I'm not techy though so I can't speak to its quality. Does the job for me.
ProtonVPN - open source, highly secure software with a transparent mission; there's a free version too that has undergone independent security audits just like the paid editions
ProtonVPN is controlled by feds. Use Mullvad
Seconded on Mullvad. Anonymous and easy to use. Everything is open-source too
Amy thoughts on NordVPN? I was interested in purchasing it but if anyone has any thoughts love to hear them

Learn moreI can only speak to the speed/interface, but I've been using it and there is virtually 0 drop in speed. Interface is easy enough to use.
I'm a NordVPN user too, got it for 2 years with a discount from some YT guy (can't remember who now), that's what made me get it. Gotta say, it's really effective, 0 speed drop on all the servers I've tried (DE, US, CH, UK, FR, NL, to cite just a few countries). Very intuitive, and not too bothersome at all with email ads. All in all, I'm definitely enjoying it and using it quite often. User interface is also super simple (I have nothing to compare it to, since it's the only VPN I've tried).
VPN is already a thing of the past because there are a lot of complaints when working with it. There is not yet any standard for VPNs that can be measured and reported. And since there are no metrics to analyze, you have to rely on professional reviews to find out which services are the most reliable. The best windows vps hosting is that it will replace all your VPN services. I am sure that you will be satisfied. Some companies realize that VPN networks give their users carte blanche. To counter this, they start blocking access for known VPN IP addresses.
Why is there a need to use a VPN?

online crypto casino gambling, maybe? That's the only thing I can think of
VPN Poker violates TOS for most places - you can lose all your money. I've heard of people losing $350K in their account for TOS violations.

Mullvad is about the only answer. You will have to play with which area you connect to to get the best speeds sometimes, but it's got the best record of not tracking people.
