Best way to catch up on popular culture?

I moved to the States when I was in my mid teens, so I was thrown right into the ringer. Because my family emigrated due to education, I did not watch any commonly known TV shows / movies / etc. Likewise, I do not play many sports. Will get some golf and tennis training lessons this summer, but I really want to know what is the most efficient way to catch up on popular culture? I have found myself listening primarily to the same music genre, watching reels of sports off YouTube, and watching a movie once in a while (they usually don't make as much sense to me since I have not seen the prequels of the trialogue haha).

Any advice on how to catch up fast?

I know this sounds stupid, but get TikTok. As someone in their early 20's, I get a lot of videos relating to popular culture in some way on my feed. Don't know if you'll 'catch up fast' on culture, but you'll definitely be more exposed to it than sports reels on YouTube and watching the occasional movie

I'll give it a try. Thanks a lot!
