Best Work Social Events

What are some of the best work sponsored social events you've been to (as an intern, analyst, or otherwise)? I'm trying to plan something out for my group and am look for something fun and conducive to drinking. In the past we've done Dave & Busters, whirlyball and a booze cruise, but I'd appreciate some additional suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Best intern event for most SAs would be the booze cruise.

1.) Unlimited open bar 2.) (Some) cute SA girls and hot HR girls 3.) ??? 4.) Profit

Depending on the athleticism of your group, you could all sign up to do a Tough Mudder or an equivalent race as a team. Also, we once rented out a local sports facility and had a flag football match -- senior guys vs. junior guys. Did F1 racing once in Boston as well -- you may have a similar site near you. Could do a bowling outing as well. Sounds lame to a lot of people but it is a good way to socialize and quite conducive to drinking. All are very inexpensive.

Haha they should do a before and after event - see how much everyone's health has degraded post-internship :p

Depends on the group, because that has to be taken to account, but my two favorites have been

Golf scramble and fishing charter.

Why just some hot girls? I say enough for everyone to have 2.

That is awesome. Would like a football or F1 racing match between colleagues

Okay, that's the most expensive item on that list by a big margin, but I'm talking about getting a group together and going to the track and riding around for an hour. Not the most social event unless you hit a bar afterwards, but definitely a good time and cheap relative to taking everyone on a booze cruise.

I was just giving you a hard time, the list seems fairly original. Personally I'll be keeping it in mind next time it's my turn to plan something fun.
