I liked the ending. It gives us insight how all key plots will develop going forward
u make a good point
why do u think they’re gonna breakup
Kim realizes that the transformation of Jimmy into Saul is a life-changing process. There are hidden character traits she didn't know existed. When Howard pulls her aside in court in the season finale, she acts like his behavior didn't bother her. Deep inside she is worried how much there is she doesn't know about her now-husband.
I think Lalo will go up north to pursue Nacho and will get caught by the cops and end up with a life sentence for his other charges. I think there's a likelihood Nacho will be ordering a vacuum cleaner, and we'll learn about the origins of the guy that sells them.
we know that in the beginning of Breaking Bad, when Walter and Jesse kidnap Saul he says
"Did Lalo send you?"
and "It wasn't me, it was Ignacio"
That's an interesting tidbit. I was thinking that maybe Ignacio saw Lalo exit the tunnel and circled back and killed him. I wonder how Ignacio escaped being assasinated later.
I think it's conceivable that Lalo is dead at that point - and Jimmy either has no idea that he is, or is so scared of him after whatever transpires following the assassination failure, that one of his guys is coming for revenge - or whatever.
I just can't fathom Fring not tying up the loose ends on a hit that fails, or Mike not tying out the loose end in the next season. But - then again - I can't believe they'd managed to pull off another breaking bad level show, where you know the outcomes of so many characters. Love it.
Is the season worth watching?
totally. best season yet
Yes, current season is one of the better ones, IMO. Gives good background into Jimmy/Kimmy, their life post-Chuck and HHM, how the cartel dynamics develop and what their strategy is going into the next season.
It is useful to have watched Breaking Bad before.
Just started the season. The kind of apartment complex Jimmy's living in, with a parking lot in the middle and a row of apartments on each side (looks very new and clean/very spacious surroundings)--is this type of setup common? How much would the rent be on something like this?
Jimmy's and Walt's temporary accommodation is on Tramway Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112 (the one with the pool, before Walt found his new apartment)
Walt's new apartment (after separation) is at 3932 Silver Avenue SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108
In season 05 Jimmy and Kim are living together, he moved in at some point earlier in the show. Kim's apartment is located at The Artisan Apartments, 1751 Bellamah Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
