I'm sure many of you have seen it, I can only imagine how tense it was.
I didn't know what to think after seeing our guys shake hands with the Taliban insurgents, it was a "woah, is this really happening" moment for me.
The high quality Taliban video pans to the mountain side around the 1 minute mark and the Black Hawk appears shortly after that. Judging by the video, the helicopter was only on the ground for a minute before taking off again.

I've been out of the loop for a few months and just came up for air. Wow. I don't even have a reaction beyond that yet.

Bergdahl will definitely get interrogated heavily. The video was intense, especially seeing the CIA/Special Forces guys concealing their right hand in case anything got out of hand during the exchange.
So five former high-ranking members of the Taliban were exchanged for one private (promoted to sergeant in absentia) who allegedly deserted his post of his own free will and harbored anti-American sentiment...yeah, seems like a fair trade...
