breaking down each industry?

Can someone link me to where I can read in depth about each industry? I'm a CFA Level 1 candidate, and I'm interested in so many things, but I just can't figure out exactly what to really get myself into? I love dealing with investments, I was thinking I eventually want to get into VC or some kind of hedge fund because prior to getting into CFA, I was very interested in startups. I'm also interested in commercial real estate because I eventually want to own property and do some type of development.
