Burned out after accepting IB offer

Hey everyone,

Recently I accepted an IB offer at a firm and I'm very satisfied. It took me countless hours of preparation, lack of sleep for IB, and I have my classes on top of that. Since I accepted it two weeks ago, I lost most of my energy and motivation to work. I've been sleeping in, procrastinating, and generally have been tired either way. I don't know if this has happened to anyone, but earlier today I found out what this phenomenon was called, and it's called burnout. I have finals coming up and alot of shit is due very soon, and I have to catch up alot. What were some ways you coped with this, and how long did it took for you to get back in your rhythm? Thanks!

Eat well, workout and also visualize what you need to do everyday.

My psychiatrist won’t give me adderall - do you legit have ADHD or nah?

It's just rote relief and your body/mind reeling from actually having accomplished what you likely thought was an almost insurmountable task. Just make sure you complete the small shit and the tasks which aren't that important to you as a matter of routine so that you don't lose that sense of stability. Now, more than ever, you need to make sure you pull it together and keep it together so that you are level headed going into your internship/FT role.
