Business Book Recommendation

Hi people,

Want to read a book and need your recommendation.

The book I am looking for is which will enable me to understand how businesses (or certain industries) work. Ideally would like to read about main drivers, costs, margins, and trends of the industries with emphasis on strategy (finance is also welcomed). I have some books about competitive strategy, however, they are theoritical, dry, and lack examples from the business world.

Thanks

This just sounds like an undergrad business or finance degree?
