Can "Beta Males" be succesful?

Hi WSO, a question that has puzzled me for some time is if so called "beta males" can be ever truly succesful.
To be clear, I´m not talking about those whiny little cuckbois who populate the social sciences departments of this world. No, I´m talking about those guys in your analyst class, you know, the ones who don´t go out on a Friday night and act socially awkward in large groups. As a general rule in life, your success is not only determined by your abilities but more importantly by your attitude - a go-getter will get further in life than someone who does not seek out his own goals. But a counter example would be someone like Grampa Warren, who was very shy and awkward in his younger years.

The question now is: If you´re such a "beta male" - if you prefer staying in on a Friday night, if you hate dealing with certain people, if you get uncomfortable with body contact etc - can you ever be succesful in life? And can you be succesful on the Street? What do you think?

You need game for any girl . If you want a stereotypical texas christian girl who will marry at 25 you better be as good looking as the pope, be able to memorize John 13:14 like the back of your hand without messing up or have a executive position in your university's christian group and of course don't have PREMARITAL SEX.

Hmm.... sounds like you want an excuse to "go out on a Friday night" while the Chad tier analyst puts in work. Have fun getting trashed with PE Pete and calling it networking because Chad had lunch with him Wednesday and tonight he's learning things you aren't and passing you up .

Sorry Matchwood but you are the beta male. GLHF.

BallsOnChinBoy doesn´t get my post, smh. Btw, all those salty ass nerds, too, thinking I´m talking negative about them, lol no, in fact I am like that myself. Being introverted is nothing bad, far from it. But yeah, cue the MS, w/ever

My grandfather was a bombardier in a B-17 Flying Fortress in the 8th Bomber Group in World War II. That group took more losses than any unit in the history of modern warfare. They all figured they were going to die every time they went up. Flak boomed around them on all sides. They bailed out over Germany on one mission and my grandfather spent the remainder of the war in stalag luft I, which treated him horribly.

Every Independence day he locked himself in his bedroom and cried because the sounds were so very traumatic.

But, do you know what he didn’t do? He didn’t log onto WSO to ask if beta males can be successful. Why? His generation wasn’t the soft skin petition for me creating generation. He wasn’t going to stop people from celebrating an alpha life, the life he served and suffered to protect.

I'm just a little confused here. Are you relating a beta male to someone who is not a social person? I mean I understand if some people would prefer to stay in on a friday but on the other hand, if you can't be a sociable person to people you meet, it does affect client relationships or connections with various people.

"It's okay, I'll see you on the other side"

Yes, you may not be CEO or in some high level management position, but hey you will be in a cushy and comfy job in the middle of management and you will be known as someone who is smart and can get the job done. Just don't ask him/her to speak. All good, there are people like that and that is fine. They still know their stuff. Maybe some day they develop the confidence too because they know their craft so well. Don't count them out or underestimate them. Beta is only one level below Alpha. Nothing is above Alphas - they get stuck. Betas can only rise.
