Cheap Dates?

I'm starting university soon, and want to up my dating game.

Going to try cold approach / tinder / bumble, but of course all three usually lead to a date of some sort. In terms of date places, I have tons of ideas, but some of them can get quite pricey.

I've allocated myself around £2000 for fun during the year, and want to keep costs as low as possible.

What are your best cheap date ideas?

coffee shops with board games / chess, arcade bars, ice cream while walking over the high line

I wish more coffee shops have this facility. Once out of high school I really want to improve my dating game. My previous high dates were expectedly high-school-like and very immature. I find it hard to keep the convo as I don't have much say but I'm good at improvising. Surely you don't want to sugar coat her as there should be element of push and pull. Such games or fun activities do help to exercise that. As for the $2000 allocation you sound like a sugardaddy who pays monthly subscription in sugarbook, trust me dates shouldn't cost that much. Before college that was my net life savings so far

Quick happy hour spot and don't order food, coffee, meet in the park etc. If you're just starting university it's a way lower bar, can just invite girls to someone's pregame or an event happening on campus.

Regardless of money I think these are better anyway - no reason for everyone to waste time and money on a dinner date if you both decide 1 minute in that there's nothing there

If you have patience and willing to spend time for hunting, you can actually find some hidden gems which is "low maintenance" in my own terms. Tinder / Sugarbook / Bumble, lot of choices. Want to keep costs low, patience is the key.

My personal choice is hiking. Hikes are a great way to combine both. Spend some time searching up trails together, then get packed, and head out for a day of exploration, nature, and spending quality time with your partner.

Where do you live?

Why? Wanna join me for a hiking session? The place where I live has so many hiking spots but less people to make hiking a hobby. I would love spending time with my partner while engaging in some outdoor activities rather than just shopping, cinema and whatever boring activities.

$1 Margaritas sound good. I wonder what liquor it is - probably really cheap stuff.

Gotta be cuervo or the likes. Yikes. Tequila unlike vodka is one of the liquors where the quality/price differential between bottles is super night and day. Most liquors honestly are super discernable by quality except for vodka for me at least lol but yeah those margs sound brutal
