Chill WFH Jobs / Careers That Pay $70k?
Alright guys.. I’m reaching my breaking point in current role (finance, non IB) and looking for a complete career change. Something that pays around $70k/annual, WFH, and chill.. is that even a thing??
Mental health has dropped off a cliff in the last few months and I need something completely different, while still being able to pay the mortgage until I pay it off.
Corp strategy, strategic finance, corp dev all have good hours and work life balance
Also, how old are you and how much do you make?
Late 20s making 150k all-in
looking at Corp dev and strategy roles but TBH trying to aim for non profits first, although that means larger pay cuts
Non-profits will pay far below $70k--there's going to be a steep paycut there
What are your hours and stress like in your current job? Sounds like a pretty cush job's salary but based on your post, it doesn't seem like that's the case. You think it's the people you work with who are causing the mental health problems?
Speaking from experience. There are some non-profits that dish out better benefits than for profits. Might be an outlier, but outliers do exist, so feel free to explore causes you care about and see fi they're hiring. What geographic area are you in?
